Nail your headline with 1 simple trick

K, you’ve spent HOURS creating your content.  But unless you nail your headline… no one’s gonna see it!

No pressure right?

Do you go with a headline which just tells it like it is?

Or one of those irresistible “can’t help but click” types?

The first question you need to ask yourself is HOW your content is going to be found.

“Search or social?”

If you’re gunning for Google, make it crystal clear what your content is about.

“Top 10 Apps For Your Photography Business”

If you plan for your content to be on social, go for a curiosity-invoking headline like,
“You’ll Never Believe You Ran Your Photography Business Without These Apps”

What’s the diff?

Google may be hella smart, but it can’t read between the lines. It doesn’t know HOW to rank your content if you only use curiosity and emotional hooks. (Especially if it’s video because it can’t crawl it to figure out what your content’s about!)

Us people still got one up on search. We’re drawn in by wanting to know more… so curiosity is da bomb diggity for social.
