So we're looking for a new house.
And every single day we're checking listings, waiting, hoping, kiiiiinda getting frustrated why our house isn't showing up yet. Come on world, we're ready. Where's our place? Send it our way.
But I realized that I'm not doing a very good job of showing the universe I'm ready for this place to come into my life.
Even if the most perfect place appeared on the market today, I wouldn't be in the position to take action. There’s a few finishing touches to take care of, clutter to get rid of, a mortgage to pre-approve...
Basically, I haven’t proven myself READY to make this happen.
I see a lot of businesses in the same position You set up a page and you’re like k, send me traffic! Send me leads! Send me customers!
And it’s reaaaaaaally frustrating when you realize that nobody's coming - but maybe you haven’t held up your end of the bargain.
Like, maybe you have an opt in set up. BUT... you don’t have an email campaign on the backend to make the most of those leads. You could have all the traffic in the world, but it won’t help you much if you aren’t prepared to do anything with those fresh leads!
It's not like things need to be perfect, but you just have to have the baseline established. So when things come your way, you're ready. You can just jump on it. This is the perfect wave, right? When the wave comes, you're ready to ride it.
So when things aren't going your way and you're wondering why aren't people buying or why aren't people joining or whatever it is, take a step back and see.
